PROTOTYPING TOMORROW
FROM THE MARGINS OF TODAY_

Reinvention exists to explore the outer-rim territory beyond current systems and structures: the ideas that we cannot yet fully see, prove, or operationalize.

Reinvention serves Teach For America and the wider education sector by experimenting boldly, challenging assumptions, taking intelligent risks, and moving emerging possibilities from the margins toward the mainstream as we prototype the future.

WE ARE OBSESSED WITH
SOLVING TWO PROBLEMS_

FUTURE OF LEARNING PROBLEM

The education system hasn’t kept up with a radically changing world and access to learning of the future is unequally distributed. It’s often accessed only by those lucky enough to live near a future-forward school or who have the luxury to pay for it.

TALENT PROBLEM

Students in the highest-need communities are consistently the least likely to be taught by strong, supported teachers. The teaching profession struggles to attract and retain top talent where it's needed most, at every level of educational leadership.

At the intersection of these, we’re building and amplifying offerings
that find, develop, and support

FUTURE EDUCATORS FOR
THE FUTURE OF LEARNING.

Our ongoing work and future drops are
developed across three core divisions.

REINVENTION LAB

Rapid-cycle R&D

The Reinvention Lab is Teach For America’s
rapid-cycle research and development engine. We help our organization prepare for the future of educators and learning by anticipating change, testing new approaches, and turning emerging insights into ideas, tools, and models that can shape what comes next.

HORIZONS HOUSE

Field innovation

Horizons House is Teach For America’s incubator and accelerator for innovation. We help the Teach For America network move promising ideas from concept to pilot, support later-stage work toward sustainability and scale, and create disciplined pathways for learning, iteration, investment, and impact.

AI
CENTER

Emerging tech

The AI Center is Teach For America’s learning space for AI and emerging technology. Across regions, we lead professional learning, ethical usage, and product development to help educators build the judgment, confidence, and dexterity needed to navigate and shape a rapidly evolving technological landscape.

THE STATUS QUO IS A RELIC

If you are already busy crafting the next era of learning, and feeling the exhaustion of working against a system that has not caught up, you are in the right place.
